  • Barbarian Barrel
  • Zap/Log
  • Giant Snowball
  • Bats

Riddle Time!

I may be a troop, but don’t give me no problems, I’ll slay you with one hit just like you’re a goblin. Some say I’m tough, others say I’m thrifty, cause no spells kill me with HP 1350. I’m a real OG, a day-one they say, you met me when you first started to play. So make a new deck, but don’t leave me out, for I’m part of what this game’s all about!

Who am I?

Deck Spotlight

(00:59:48)

Immortal Technique (4.6 AEC)

Cards: Three Musketeers, Battle Ram, Lumberjack, Barbarian Hut, Electro Dragon, Dart Goblin, Barbarian Hut, and Heal

Copy to Deck

Decksplanation: This deck is one of the blind deck challenge decks. It was submitted by Immortal – the CRL NA champions, which just played in the world finals. This deck is expensive, but has no good way to generate resources, and also has no spells that deal damage to your opponent (except of course for the barbarian barrel). The heal spell is in the deck, of course, but that only helps to control lanes! This deck features many cards that force out spells, like the lighting, poison, or fireball. IF they use that spell on the building, then they won’t have that spell for the three musketeers.

The point of this deck is to control the game, lane by lane, with the barbarian hut down first – and from there, start the barbarian brigade! The barbarian barrel will take out small troops that are in front of your 3 musketeers or battle ram. The lumberjack adds a bit of chaos in the mix. It can be extremely helpful for the battle ram, allowing it to get to the tower. Also, it’s a very good tank killer, to help with your “control” objective. If that wasn’t enough, you can still deal damage with things from afar, with the dart goblin, which was recently buffed. His range allows him to not get great value with spells – so be sure to spread him out. On the counter push, he will require a response.

Throughout the game, the control you bring to your side of the map will allow you to generate elixir advantages. From there, you’ll eventually be able to develop split pushes, with the three musketeer, battle ram, and lumberjack (with of course the barbarian hut barbs going down a lane). With all that said, don’t forget – you can ALSO control lanes and go onto an offensive counter push with the electro dragon. Please don’t use this card for offensive purposes, as you will find yourself struggling to find elixir, and the push will fall short. Defend first, then go on offense. That’s the control aspect of this deck! Slow play, build the pressure, gain elixir advantages, then go hard in the paint with the split lane push! Boom!!
